Library Hours
The Hatchett Library is open from 7:15 a.m. to 2:55 p.m. Families are welcome to stop by to check out books and/or volunteer from 7:15-7:50 a.m. and 2:30-2:55 p.m.
Class Visits
Each grade level attends library classes every 6 days. Students are able to check out new books, grow more confident as a reader, and learn how to access information with various tools.
Book Checkouts
Student Checkouts
All students are able to check books in and out from the library. Students must return books in order to check out new books.
Pre-K/ECSE/ECC: Students may choose 1 board book that is checked out under their teacher's name. These books stay in the classroom.
Kinder-1st grade: Students may choose 1 book to check out under their name. Some teachers opt to keep these books in the classroom instead of sending them home.
2nd-5th grades: Students may choose 2 books to check out under their name. These books may go home as long as they are taken care of and returned.
Family Checkouts
Parents/Guardians/Caretakers are able to check out up to 5 books at a time for 2 weeks. Our Parenting Resource cart offers books that can support the health and well-being of your family. Please see Mrs. Boan for information on setting up an account.
