The College, Career, Military Readiness Center
The Center offers a variety of resources about the college and financial aid application process, scholarships, job opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and much more.
The Center is available Monday - Friday and students are able to drop by before or after school, during lunch, or during study hall or an off campus period. College Visits & Events
The College, Career, & Military Readiness Center coordinates college visits and information sessions with many universities, military recruiters, and employers throughout the year, including College and Job Fairs. Check with the College, Career, Military Advisor for the Event Calendar.
College Reps, Military Recruiters, and Employers
College/university representatives, recruiters and employers may schedule a campus visit either before school from 8:30 - 9 a.m., or during A&B lunch from 12:35-2:15 p.m. You may sign up through Counselor Community RepVisits or contact the Center, 210-397-5440.
College Representatives and Prospective Employers:
If you are planning to be on any NISD campus, please complete the background check at least 2 weeks prior to your visit. This is required for all NISD campuses and the information is not shared. Click HERE for the Background Check Form.
