About the Hoffmann Library
The Hoffmann Library, located front and center on our campus, is a hub for learning and a space where all students have the opportunity to engage in fun and enriching activities! Classes come in to check-out books, enjoy great stories and so much more! We have two book fairs each year, as well as author visits and other presentations that extend learning outside of the classroom. Our library is a welcoming space where all students are invited in to explore and enjoy!
Library Hours
Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Student Check Out
Each class has a scheduled library time each week. During this time, students self select books to check-out and read for their enjoyment. Teachers can also bring classes at other times for specific projects or to select books to support their classroom learning.
Parent/Guardian Check Out
Parents/guardians can check out up to 5 books at a time for 2 weeks. They can come in with their child in the morning before or after school to check out/return books. Parents/guardians need to fill out a form so that Mrs. Romero can create a family account for you. You can complete the form in the library.

About Your Librarian, Mrs. Romero
Mrs. Romero has been a librarian for 18 years, 16 of those being at Hoffmann Elementary! Before finding her way to the library, she was a school counselor and a GT teacher.
A few fun facts about Mrs. Romero...
- She's married and has one daughter and one son (both of her kids were Hoffmann Hawks).
- She's a huge sports fan with the St. Louis Cardinals being her favorite team, but she love almost all sports.
- She loves dachshunds (also known as weenie dogs).
- She enjoys spending her free time reading and camping.
