Strings

Eligible: 5th grade

Students learn how to play a string instrument (violin, viola, cello, or bass).  We learn the basic skills on how to play such as holding the instrument, using the bow, the difference between plucking and bowing, how to read music, and how to follow a conductor.  This course happens year round and the students will have multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.
