  • Solve one-step and two-step problems involving addition and subtraction within1,000.
  • Solve multiplication and division problems within 100.
  • Meet projected growth in math and reading MAP tests.
  • Read independently for an extended period of time and paraphrase what the reading was about.
  • Use reading comprehension strategies to understand different kinds of texts.
  • Use elements of the writing process to compose a text with a score of 3 or higher.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
