3rd Grade - Students will use the engineering design process to create Rube Goldberg machines. Each project will use a combination of simple machines: pulley, wheel and axle, level, and inclined plane. They will also have a goal and parameters (i.e. pop a balloon in 5 steps). Students will present their machines at a campus-wide family event.
