Mrs. Katrina Simmons

Our campus librarian supports collaboration among faculty, staff, and students to create an atmosphere of academic excellence and provides the community with tools for lifelong learning. The library is actively engaged in the teaching, research, and outreach of the school.

Our mission is to encourage all students to explore, imagine, create and share using the technology and tools of the 21st century.

 

Checkout Policy

Students in Pre-k-1st checkout one book at a time.

2nd-5th grades checkout two books at a time.

The library does not charge for overdue books however replacement costs are charged for books that are damaged beyond repair or lost.


Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
