NISD PTA's Vision

To make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

Who is the PTA? 

We are a group of parents/teachers/community members who work together to provide a fun learning environment for all Mora students and who advocate for an excellent education system on behalf of those students.

How can I help?

  • Join PTA: $8 dues activate your PTA membership for a full school year. There is now an option to become a member online for $9.50. Visit JoinPTA.org to join

  • Volunteer:  Volunteer as much (or as little) as your schedule allows, there are no required hours of volunteer time, no mandatory number of meetings to attend! Click here to complete NISD's Volunteer Background Check.

  • Promote: spread the word about what your PTA is doing for your school, encourage other parents and friends to be a part of our efforts to empower children and families.

Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
