English Language Arts

The NAHS English Department prepares all levels of students, both college-bound and career ready, through a rigorous, skills-based practice that focuses on reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Many courses are offered at each level, including on-level and Advanced courses. Students have access to classroom technology for all levels of instructional needs, providing a sound base for the 21st Century skills needed for students to be successful.

Most importantly, we have experienced, dynamic teachers working collaboratively to help all our NAHS students. Our exceptional teachers continue to find new, innovative methods to reach students and address the various needs of our diverse student population.
