Northside ISD is pleased to welcome Lauren Gonzaba as the new Associate Principal at Northside Alternative High School.
Ms. Gonzaba set roots in NISD in ‘99 as a Cable Cub and graduated as a Stevens Falcon in 2011. She began her teaching career in 2015 as an English Teacher at Northside’s Alternative High School, eventually becoming the department coordinator in 2016. After overseeing the English Department for six years, and then joining the leadership team as an Assistant Principal, Ms. Gonzaba has now earned the opportunity to serve as the NAHS Associate Principal with a singular understanding about our district’s At-Risk population.
Ms. Gonzaba brings a variety of skills and insights that will support the district’s mission and vision in providing NAHS students the opportunity and encouragement to fulfill life-long goals. Beloved by her NAHS family, Ms. Gonzaba aims to maintain a culture that welcomes and fosters positive relationships between students and educators.
