District Optimization: Establishing Priorities Through Community Input

District Optimization: Establishing Priorities Through Community Input

Dear Northside ISD Community,

Northside ISD is beginning an important, community-centered planning effort called District Optimizationโ€”and we need your voice.

District Optimization is a strategic process that helps ensure our students are served in strong learning environments now and in the future. As enrollment patterns, funding, and student needs change, this work allows us to plan thoughtfully and responsibly while staying focused on what matters most: student success.

The first step in this process is developing a District Optimization Priority Framework. This framework will guide how the district considers facilities, programs, and draft scenarios. To ensure these priorities reflect our shared values, we are asking families, staff, students, and community members to complete a short survey.

Your feedback will directly inform:

  • The priorities that guide districtwide decision-making;
  • How data is analyzed and used throughout the process; and
  • The development of future draft scenarios and recommendations

No decisions have been made. This survey is about setting direction before any options are developed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. Your voice matters, and it will shape the future of Northside ISD.

Sincerely,
Dr. John M. Craft
Superintendent, Northside ISD
