Parent/Medical Notes must be turned in within 3 days of absence and student's ID number written on the excuse along with periods missed. 

All notes can be brought to the attendance office or emailed directly.

Any forgotten materials may be delivered to the Attendance Office to be picked up by the student.  If possible parents should notify the student that the materials are in the office and they can come between classes or during lunch to get the items. 


  • All students who drive to campus, including students 18 years of age must have written permission from parent/guardian to sign themselves out of school early for appointments. 
  • Parents must email written permission to both attendance secretaries first thing the morning of the appointment along with a copy of a parent or guardian photo ID. 
  • Students will need to stop by the attendance office to obtain a pink pass to leave campus after their first-period class ends. (students will not be called down if they are driving themselves. Obtaining the pink pass is very important).
  • Parents/Students will need to follow this process each time a student that drives to campus has to leave. 



  • All students who do not drive to campus must have a parent/guardian/emergency contact come to the attendance office with a photo ID to check the student out. Students cannot sit in the office to wait for a parent they will be called from class upon parent arrival/ verification.

O'Connor Main Office A108

(Verification of Enrollment) is obtained through the Main Office: students need to sign up in person or email the office at least 2 business days in advance and the VOE will be available to pick up in the main office A108.

VOE's are only good for 30 days, so please make sure you have an appointment before requesting.

Students or parents needing to report issues or grievances need to see their assigned administrator.  Please come to A104 and Mrs. Swank can assist you with connecting you to your administrator. 210-397-4824.

This form can be submitted online Campus Parking Permit Form, once completed permits will be available to pick up in A104. 

If you need to turn in items found on campus or retrieve items lost on campus come to A104.  Mrs. Swank or a secretary can assist you. 

Student ID Cards will be made in the Cafeteria before school, during lunches and after school. If no one is at the ID station go to A104 and Mrs. Swank can assist you. 

Juniors and Seniors may go off campus for lunch if they have a parent permission form on file and are in good standing for grades and attendance. Please have a student ID and parent permission form completed, stickers may be picked up in the VPO office thru Sept 10, 2021.  The next sticker distribution will be in January 2022. 

If you need to withdraw from O'Connor you will need to speak with Mrs. Engel in the VPO office A104.  She can be reached at 210-397-4848.

For a change of address please email proof of residency to attendance, along with a copy of parent/guardian photo ID to Amy Engel or call 210-397-4848

  • Acceptable forms for Proof of Residency: CPS, SAWS or a trash bill (dated within the past 30 days) 
  • Bill must be first full-page showing usage at the new address
