14 Years teaching PE all at Powell. Love to exercise and play sports.

Specialty Librarian: I graduated from Texas State University with a BFA and all-level teaching certification followed by a Masters of Library Science from Texas A&M- Commerce. 

Prior to working at Powell, I taught art for 9 years at both the Elementary and Middle School. 

This is my third year as a campus librarian and I’m having a great time.

I am married with 2 grown children who are both products of NISD. 

I have been in Northside for 28 years as a classroom teacher and GT specialist. 

I graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1995. 

My favorite pastimes are gardening and arts and crafts. 

I am a huge football fan, but my favorite team is the Buffalo Bills! 

I love dogs especially golden retrievers. 

A fun fact about me is that I love to decorate for the holidays.
