Mrs. Paul grew up in San Antonio and attended schools in the Northside Independent School District, graduating from Holmes High School. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in Elementary Education with a specialization in reading. Mrs. Paul earned her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Mrs. Paul views a collaborative school environment as the key to creating successful teachers and students. She believes partnerships with parents and community partners are essential to enriching the experience at Powell Elementary.
During her free time, Mrs. Paul enjoys reading, walking her dogs, running, crafting and spending time with family.

Mrs. Muñoz has been part of Northside ISD since 2009. She began her teaching career as a Kinder and First grade teacher at Langley ES and was a Reading Specialist at Westwood Terrace for six years. She then became an Admin Intern at Cable Elementary for one year before coming to Powell ES to serve as Associate Principal.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's in Literacy Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio as well as a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Building strong relationships with the students, staff and the community at Powell is at the forefront of her work.
