I am a Certified Reading Specialist (EC–12) with 28 years of experience in education. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting students in developing strong literacy skills.
I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University and the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and my pets.

I was born and raised in McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley. I moved to San Antonio in 2016 for work and loved it so much that I decided to make it home!
I began my career as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in 2012. After moving to San Antonio, I worked as a Special Education teacher for nine years while continuing to work as an SLPA in home health.
I am now back working as an SLPA in the school setting while completing my graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
I especially enjoy working with children and love helping students find their voice and become confident communicators
