Sherry Mireles - Principal
Sherry Mireles is the proud principal of Ed Rawlinson Middle School.
She has been with Rawlinson since 2018. Prior to her Principalship, she was the Vice Principal at Hector Garcia Middle School and an Assistant Principal in Boerne ISD. She began her teaching career 19 years ago in San Antonio ISD and then spent many years teaching at Hobby Middle School in Northside.

Mrs. Mireles attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree. She then obtained her Master's degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.

Mrs. Mireles believes in the importance of a positive campus culture and understands that staff, students and parents are key stakeholders in creating this. Mrs. Mireles believes that every student should feel connected to their school beyond the classroom. She and her staff work to connect every child to the right programs, clubs and organizations that have proven to be essential in their development.

During her free time, Mrs. Mireles enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

It is my pleasure to continue to serve as Rawlinson’s Associate Principal. Although my title has changed, my goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and culture at RMS that is conducive to teaching and learning.
I am a former high school and middle school English teacher, a proud mom of two Longhorns, and a proud member of the Patriot family.
