Rhodes Librarian - Christie Yowell
Hey Raptors and Raptor Families! I am Mrs. Yowell, your librarian at Rhodes Elementary. I look forward to working with you this year helping you discover your next favorite book and your love of learning.
My goal as your librarian is to foster a love of reading, open a world of curiosity, and spark the pursuit of lifelong learning through literature, hands-on experiences, and encouraging support for all learners.
Library Vision and Mission

- To empower students to become lifelong readers, curious learners, and confident information seekers.
Mission:
- To provide a unique and engaging learning environment where students discover the joy of reading, take ownership of their learning, and actively participate in both independent and collaborative activities.
Library Hours
Discovery Days 1-4:
- 7:10 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Discovery Days 5-8:
- 7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Check Out Policy
Students in PreK through 1st grade will be able to check out 1 book per library visit.
Students in 2nd grade through 5th grade will be able to check out 2 books per library visit.
Parents and Guardians may set up an account and will be able to check out 5 books.
