Northside ISD continues to enforce its “No Shots, No School” policy. Texas law requires all public school children have current immunizations in order to attend class.

Jocelyn Dudney - Principal
Jocelyn Dudney is a proud product of Northside ISD. She attended Locke Hill Elementary, Hobby Middle School, and Clark High School. After high school, Mrs. Dudney attended Texas A&M and graduated in 1995 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Mrs. Dudney’s career in education has been widely varied. She has served as a general education teacher, special education teacher and reading specialist. After obtaining her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, she became the Vice Principal at Hatchett Elementary School. Mrs. Dudney became a Principal in Boerne ISD before moving back to Northside where she currently serves as the Principal of Scobee Elementary.

Mrs. Dudney is married to Brad Dudney and has three children.

Kimberly Contreras-Tamez is the proud product of NISD. She attended Villarreal Elementary (formerly Forest Hills Elem), Sul Ross Middle School, and Holmes High School. She attended St. Phillip's College, then graduated from UTSA with a degree in Kinesiology. She then returned to UTSA for her masters degree in Educational Leadership and then again for another masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She began her teaching career in SAISD as a head girls coach and athletic coordinator. She was given the opportunity to move into Northside as the elementary PE teacher at her former elementary school, Villarreal, where she taught PE for 13 years before moving into 2nd grade teaching. She then entered the role of Academic Support Teacher for Reading at Westwood Terrace Elementary. She was accepted into the NLA program, served as Administrator Intern at Westwood Terrace, and is currently the Vice Principal of Scobee Elementary. This is her 21st year in education.

Mrs. Tamez has 3 children ranging in age from 8 to 20 years old. All three attended NISD schools! Her husband is a music teacher in Northside.
