The Challenger Choir is open to all 4th and 5th graders who love to sing. Students enrolled in the Challenger Choir rehearse on Wednesdays from 7:15 - 7:45 AM in the music room. The Challenger Choir encourages students to develop their voice by singing in unison and two-part harmony and prepares them for choral groups in middle and high school.

Texas Cheer & Dance, in cooperation with NISD, provides year-round performance-oriented programs for both boys and girls, with performance opportunities throughout the year. Cost is $49.95/month and is held at various campuses for different grades. Please see the attached flyer for more details and for registration information.

Scobee Strings is open to all 5th grade students who are interested in learning how to play the violin or viola. Students enrolled in Scobee Strings meet on Monday and Friday mornings from 7:00 - 7:45 AM in the music room. This class teaches the basics of learning a stringed instrument and prepares students for middle and high school orchestra.

Grades 1st-5th In Snapology's Real World Robotics class, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors. robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotics while practicing teamwork and problem solving under the guidance of Snapology instructors. They will use a drag and drop programming format on iPads® and We Do ® 2.0 robotics equipment provided by Snapology. Grades 1st-5th.

Solar Cars is a non-tuition based after-school science enrichment program for fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. Students will build engineering skills as they work in teams to design and build a working solar car model. Students will apply science knowledge, creativity, and grit to work this exciting engineering task.

Students across the district will meet on April 22, 2023, to pit their solar cars against each other at Gustafson Stadium.

Spanish Club is designed to expand your child's knowledge of the Spanish language. Our goal is to provide students with a basic understanding of the Spanish language in an effort to encourage them to further their bilingual education.

Spring 1 Session Classes begin January 17 and run through May 23, 2023. Classes are Tuesdays from 3:05-4:05 pm.

Here at Scobee, 5th grade students are encouraged to join Student Council (StuCo). The student council helps share ideas, interests, and concerns within our school community, We also help raise funds for school-wide activities, community projects, and helping people in need. Our student council encourages our future leaders to be kind, respectful, and loving in all that we do.
