There's a nip in the air and the leaves are falling from the trees. Autumn is here! It's time to unwind with a long Fall weekend! All NISD Schools and offices will be closed Friday October 9 through Monday October 12 in observance of Columbus Day/Indigenous People's Day. Tuesday October 13 is a student holiday and a staff work day. Classes will resume on Wednesday October 14, 2026. Have a great break Steubing Stallions!

Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
