I received my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2008 and my Masters in Educational Leadership in 2014, both from UTSA. This is my 11th year in Northside ISD. I began my teaching career at Knowlton Elementary where I taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grade bilingual students. In addition to that, I served as the campus Language Support Teacher for two years. I have spent the last five years as the Vice Principal of Cole Elementary. Now, I am humbled and honored to serve as the Principal of Timberwilde Elementary.
I am passionate about ensuring that our students are receiving a high quality education and that their social and emotional health is being nurtured so that they may be able to set goals, make responsible decisions, and reach their full potential. My number one goal is to build strong relationships with the students, staff, and community of Timberwilde Elementary. I wholeheartedly believe that in order for our students to be successful we have to focus on teaching the whole child by developing their social and emotional skills, and this starts with building relationships and trust.
The Associate Principal also serves as the Campus Behavior Coordinator. They can be reached by email at gabriella.trevino@nisd.net or by phone at 210-397-0415.
Hello! My name is Gabriella Trevino. I am so honored to serve the Timberwilde community, staff, and students. I look forward to building meaningful relationships, celebrating diversity, and supporting our students through their educational endeavors.
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and I am a proud alumni of Texas Lutheran University where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in 2014. In 2021, I obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I have proudly served in Northside ISD at Raba Elementary as the Music Specialist and most recently at John Glenn Elementary as the Administrator Intern.
I am passionate about fostering an equitable learning environment where students can grow both academically and socially. I truly believe that all students can be successful when we implement an environment for teaching the whole child. I look forward to serving you and growing alongside my fellow timberwolves! Together we can build a brighter future!
