For students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade who enjoy putting on a show. 2 performances per year that include musicals, plays, classics, and creative retelling of stories. There is a part for everyone. We have everything for those who want to be a star to those who want to do the more technical stuff like lighting and sound. Come join the lights, camera, action!

We are a small group of 15-20 elementary students that record the announcements and lead pledges every weekday for Timberwilde Elementary in NISD. The club is divided into several roles such as On camera announcers, Loud speaker announcers, script editors and video editors.

The purpose of this book club is to: (1) Learn how to respect and appreciate differences as we effectively communicate with others, (2) promote and enhance critical thinking skills; and, (3) promote reading.As a member, your son/daughter will be reading and discussing a book in a group format. Snack will be provided for our students. The club will be open to Twenty (20) 4th and 5th grade boys and girls. Selection is on a first come basis.

Music Club is more than just a choir. The students may be playing different instruments such as world drums, xylophones, auxiliary percussion instruments, and recorders, as well as singing and dancing. The goal if this club is to encourage students’ love for music through hands on experiences.

The ACORN in Project ACORN stands for: Area Children Organized to Replant Natives. We are a life sciences focused club that teaches students about the environment around them, how to respect it and how to take care of it. Students in the 1st-5th grades use data to make observations about the world around them as well as supplying valuable information to the scientific community as a whole!

The goal of recorder club is to encourage students’ love for music through hands on experiences. Each student will receive a recorder and an opportunity to learn how to read music and play the instrument properly. With the learning of any instrument or sustained activity comes the responsibility of continued practice at home. At the end of this recorder club session the students will have the opportunity to display the skills they’ve learned and practiced at their recorder recital/ contest.

Strings is a group of 5th grade students who meet twice a week to learn how to play the string instruments of an orchestra. Those instruments include, violin, viola, and cello.

Student Council- Student Council is an organization that promotes citizenship, scholarship, leadership, and school spirit as it fosters the development of the future leaders or our schools, cities, state and country. Student Council also supports service learning as projects are planned to benefit the students, the teachers, and the community. Members are expected to sacrifice personal time in order to be an active Council member.

If you made it through auditions then you are on to perform with others like you! Whether it be singing, dancing, juggling, or joking, we will show of Timberwilde Elementary's many different talents with lots of determination and practice at the talent show in May

Students will learn the fundamentals of baton twirling and learn routines to music. They will have the opportunity to perform at multiple school events and city events which have included performances for the SA Spurs, Rampage, & Missions; along with nearby city events such as the Helotes Cornyval Parade and the Great Northwest July 4 Parade.

Every other Friday until February 7. Science Lab,
4th and 5th graders learning about the universe beyond our planet and how it affects us on Earth. This year we are learning about the moon. We will culminate our learning with the 5th graders taking part in Stargazing on the evening of February 28 at Ward Elementary.
