Principal's Message

Testing season is officially in full swing! Our students and teachers have been working incredibly hard, and we are so proud of the focus and determination weโ€™re seeing across campus. Thank you for supporting strong attendance, good rest, and encouragement at home during this important time.

We are excited to host our annual Kite Day on March 6th! This is always such a joyful event for our students.

All volunteers must sign in at the front office to receive a volunteer badge.

Parents attending but not volunteering will need to sign in across the street at GNW Park under the designated Sign-In Canopy.

Thank you in advance for helping us keep the event organized and safe for everyone.

Spring Break is March 9thโ€“16th. Please note that students will return to school on Tuesday, March 17th (Monday is a student holiday). We hope your family enjoys a restful and fun break!

Report Cards will go home on March 20th.

We are also thrilled to announce that we will be launching our very first Great Timberwilde Hop-A-Thon on March 23rd! ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŽ‰ More details will be coming soon โ€” we canโ€™t wait to share this new and exciting event with our Timberwilde community.

As always, thank you for your partnership and support. Itโ€™s a great day to be a Timberwolf!

New this upcoming school year: Register to ride the bus

To ensure smooth, reliable bus transportation for the 2026โ€“2027 school year, eligible families must register their students in advance.

Northside ISD provides school bus transportation for students who live more than two miles from their assigned neighborhood campus. Students residing within the two-mile walk zone are generally not eligible unless their route includes a Board-approved Hazardous Traffic Condition.

โ€œRegistering early helps us plan routes efficiently and make sure every eligible student has a smooth start on the first day of school,โ€ said Transportation Director Tesi Soliz. โ€œWe encourage families to complete the quick registration process as soon as it opens so we can provide the safest and most reliable service possible.โ€

Families can use the Buses & Boundaries System to check whether their physical address qualifies for bus transportation.

Families new to Northside ISD may register for bus service during the New Student Registration process. Currently enrolled families can sign up during the Returning Student Registration, which begins March 16.

To guarantee transportation on the first day of school, all eligible students โ€“ new and returning โ€“ must register by June 30

Bus transportation for eligible special education and magnet school students will be scheduled separately.
