Counseling Department

Timberwilde counselors believe children learn best when they feel good about themselves and their relationships with others. Children who can understand and communicate their feelings can better manage their behaviors. Any challenges can affect a child’s life, and school can sometimes be challenging. By teaching self-regulation strategies, we can lessen the impact of these challenges on a student's well-being.

We believe schools, parents, and communities that collaborate provide the most effective support for our children. Our attention to attitudes formed during their early elementary years helps us shape their future attitudes about school and society. Together,  we work alongside families to ensure our student’s mental health is a priority and give them the voice they need to be productive and successful.
