PreK Qualifiers (Northside)
Your child may qualify if they meet one of the following criteria:
- Language other than English
- Educationally Disadvantaged
- Homeless
- Military
- Foster Care
- Star of Texas Award
- Classroom Teacher
Registration Details
Registration for Tomlinson PreK opens on January 20, 2026.

Important Notes:
- PreK eligibility and verification will not occur until April 1st when TEA releases eligibility information.
- After the family has submitted the required documents and been determined to meet eligibility:
- PK4 students will be officially registered for PreK.
- PK3 students will be notified if they will receive one of the allocated spots or be placed on a waiting list.
Required Documents
Please be prepared to provide the following documents:
- Student's birth certificate
- Proof of Address (current electric, water, or cable bill that shows home service address)
- Up-to-Date Immunization Records
- Photo ID of Parent
- Social Security Card
