Roxanne Gutierrez - Principal
Welcome, Jaguars! My name is Mrs. Roxanne Gutierrez, and I am the proud principal of Villarreal Elementary.

A little about myself: I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I began my career in education at John Glenn Elementary and taught kindergarten, second, and third grade. Most recently, I served as the vice principal at Linton Elementary for the past 7 years. I have been married for the past 20 years and have four wonderful children.
I consider it to be an honor and blessings to serve this community. I myself am a product of this wonderful community. As a child, I attended Esparza Elementary, Sul Ross Middle School, and graduated from Holmes High School. I am very proud to say that I was born and raised in the community. I believe deeply that our students are capable of realizing all their dreams.
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you. Please know I am here to support your child and my door is always open. I look forward to being your partner in your child's education.

Bienvenido Jaguares!
