Our Mission
The library is a hub of information and activity where students can gain the knowledge, skills, and values that empower them to accomplish their goals and achieve their dreams, by making meaningful connections with the world around them.
We provide:
A wide range of print, digital, and audio-visual media to support and challenge their growth as readers and communicators,
An atmosphere of freedom and collaboration that allows them to explore and extend their intellectual and creative horizons, and
A compassionate and thoughtfully structured experience that inspires them to value themselves and others as learners and as human beings.

- Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of California, San Diego, 1992.
- Master’s Degree in Education from Houston Baptist University, 2003.
- School Librarian Certification from Our Lady of the Lake University, 2008.
- Behavioral Special Educator and Middle School Team Leader, Holmgreen Jr./Sr. High School, 1994-1999.
- Behavioral Special Educator, Connally MS, 1999-2006.
- Behavioral Special Educator, Warren HS, 2006-2009.
- School Librarian, Westwood Terrace ES, 2009-Present.
