Welcome to Mary Lou FisherElementary. I am so honored to be the Principal of the "Marlins." I look forward to continuing to work with this great community and parents of this great school.
I have worked in SAISD, LacklandISD and NISD. I have taught first grade, third grade, fifth grade, sixth grade (math) and fourth grade summer school. I have also been a Math Specialist and served as an administrative intern and Vice Principal prior to becoming a Principal.
I have three beautiful daughters that attend NISD schools and are very active in sports. My husband is also an educator in NISD. I am also a proud parent of a yorkie.
Please know that we pride ourselves in having a beautiful campus with beautiful families. We love having family events and creating new traditions.
As we enter into this school year, please know that Fisher staff have worked endlessly in making sure that your children, our students, continue to receive the best quality of education and learning experience. We know that at Fisher, we are laying the foundation of developing lifelong learners.
We welcome back our families along with our new families. We wish you a great year and please know, we are here to support you and your family.

Welcome to a Wonderful School Year Fisher Marlins! I am very excited to start another year as your Vice-Principal!
I am starting my 22nd year in education where I have taught first, second and fifth grade. I have also been a Math Specialist and an Administrative Intern before becoming a Vice-Principal.
I am a proud mom of an 11th grader and an 8th grader that attend NISD schools. Both are products of the Dual Language Program and are actively involved in school and in baseball. I have a wonderful and supportive husband who worked for NISD as well.
We continue to grow and develop in home/school relations and communication, recognizing that student success and achievement is the end result. Building a strong school/home partnership is essential to the education of our students.
As we start another year, remember that WE are in this together and that everything that we do is for our students. Please let us know how we can help support you and your family.
