Principal Crick
Kasey Crick - Principal
Mrs. Crick was beyond thrilled to join the Helotes family as the Principal! Over the next few years, we will have the opportunity to get to know one another and collaborate on all of the important tasks involved in educating your children. At Helotes Elementary, we will work together to ensure that our students receive the high standard of education for which Northside ISD is known. She has served as the vice principal of Carson and Kuentz Elementary before becoming the Principal at Helotes. At Helotes, we believe that student success includes the development of studentsโ€™ skills both academically and socially. She enjoys working with parents and community members in developing a school where students thrive and achieve their goals! Be sure to visit our website from time to time and follow us on Twitter @NISDHelotes for updates on Helotes Elementary activities, as well as information on opportunities for student and parent involvement. We are better together!
Associate Principal Kent
Lindsay Kent - Associate Principal

The Associate Principal also serves as the Campus Behavior Coordinator. They can be reached by email at lindsay.kent@nisd.net or by phone at 210-397-3815.

My name is Lindsay Kent, and I am blessed and honored to serve Helotes Elementary as your Associate Principal. Prior to this position, I was a classroom teacher for eight years in the Houston area and at Murnin Elementary. I also served for three years as the campus Reading Specialist at Brauchle Elementary. Most recently I worked in the Office of Curriculum & Instruction as a part of the Elementary Reading Department.

My husband and I live in Helotes with our two daughters. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of having our children receive a high-quality education. I assure you that here in Northside and at Helotes Elementary, we strive to make every child successful.

I became an educator because I believe that through relationships and high expectations, we can help to positively shape the future! I love working with the Helotes staff, students, and families to help each child reach his/her full potential.

Iโ€™m looking forward to a great year! Please donโ€™t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Iโ€™m here to support our Bulldogs in any way that I can!
