Hello Stallions!
I am your Steubing Librarian! This will be my 19th year in education, my 5th year as a school librarian. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education K-4, and a Master Degree in Library Science. I absolutely love my home here at Steubing Elementary and look forward to seeing our students in the library.
Library classes and individuals will experience a positive library learning experience. Classes are held weekly, therefore my goal is for your child to have different books to read EVERY week! Here are some things that your child will do when he/she comes to the Steubing library.
- Enjoy read alouds
- Self-select books for check out
- Learn technology apps
- Sit and enjoy our comfy furniture
- Play board games
- Collaborate
- Listen to book talks
- Makerspace
- Learn and participate in collaborative work with peers
- Learn how to conduct research
Library Information
The library is open from 7:45 to 3:00 each school day.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: The library will be open from 7:00 - 7:35 for our students in grades 3rd - 5th. During this time students are able to read, play games, and/or do makerspace activities.

Please help your child remember these Book Care Guidelines:
- Books should be kept away from younger siblings and pets.
- Books should be carried to and from school in their backpack to keep them safe and clean.
- Books should be handled gently.
- If a page is torn or a book is damaged, the book should be returned to the library so that it can be repaired.
- Books should be kept away from food and drinks.
- Be very careful of liquid containers in backpacks.
- Books should be enjoyed!
Steubing Story Time
Come join me for Stallion Storytime!
This is specifically for our youngest Stallions that are not yet enrolled in school. Ages 0-4 are welcome. Come join us for festive read-alouds and activities. You can RSVP by emailing me or using the registration link! Hope to see you there! This year our Storytimes are scheduled @ 1:45pm.
Steubing Library is Looking for Volunteers!
Are you a parent, grandparent, or community member who would like to volunteer at the Steubing Library? We are looking for you! The library is currently looking for volunteers to assist in keeping the library running smoothly. You can volunteer for as little as 30 minutes - any day of the week!
