Straus Library offers a starting collection of 11,000 new and diverse books, subscriptions to 26 periodicals, 8 student computers, a 3D printer, 16 iPads, and a makerspace. It is the mission of the Straus Middle School Library is to promote the joy of reading through the use of traditional print and online publications, internet research, and audio visual media, to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information resources, and to collaborate with the entire school community to provide engaging and shared learning experiences. Other opportunities are available for students to inquire and explore, engage, create and enjoy all the library has to offer.
