Proposition Summary
Proposition A – Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE)
Proposition A asks voters to consider a three-cent increase in the district’s maintenance and operations tax rate. The increase would generate approximately $21.5 million in additional annual revenue to fund daily operating expenses, including employee salaries and utilities. The estimated increase is approximately $30 per year for every $100,000 in home value.
