I am proud and eager to serve the Los Reyes Elementary community as their NISD Librarian. I am starting my third year as a librarian and love a lively, not-so-quiet library. I was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico and was raised in McAllen, Texas. After graduating in 2008 from St. Mary's University, I became a math teacher at Connally Middle School. I went off to teach math in middle and elementary school for several years then became a elementary math specialist at Behlau Elementary School in 2016. In 2020, I graduated with a master's degree in Library Informational Science with a certification in School Librarianship from Texas Woman's University.  I am is bilingual and proud to support the dual language campus, serving bilingual students and the neighboring community.
