LEGO robotics teams to compete at Regional Championship

Nineteen robotics teams representing 18 Northside ISD schools have qualified for the Alamo Area First LEGO League (FLL) Regional Championship to be held at Davenport HS on April 2.

The teams moved on the regional level after success at several regional qualifiers held around Northside ISD.

Robotics clubs at the elementary and middle school levels teach students about robotics, coding, problem solving, team building, and critical thinking.

During competition, students must solve a real-world, scientific-based challenge, create and program an autonomous LEGO robot, and demonstrate FLL Core Values judged during interviews.
