NISD athletes to play in All-Star Game

Twenty-three NISD athletes from 11 high schools were selected to play in the 2023 San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game. Steve Basore from Brennan High School will be serving as the head coach for Team Black. Each player was nominated by their high school coaches and chosen by a selection committee.

The San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game, presented by H-E-B, will feature players that are committed to playing for some of the top universities in the country as well as players looking for an additional chance to impress college scouts.

Following the All-American Bowl, this game is set to begin at 5 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2023, at the Alamodome. Tickets range from $15-$25 and can be used for both the All-Star game and the All-American bowl. Ticket information can be found online at sanantoniosports.org.
