More than 580 employees are being honored at the annual NISD Recognition and Retirement Celebration. These honorees represent more than 12,600 years of service to Northside students.
The District’s celebration will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 24 at Brandeis High School, 13011 Kyle Seale Parkway. A Superintendent’s Reception will be held in their honor beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The event is open to the public and all friends, families, and coworkers of the honorees are welcome.
The event will also be live-streamed at nisd.net/live.
There are 286 employees being honored for 20, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of service to Northside, with a combined 6,600 years of service. Hundreds of other employees are also being recognized at their campuses for 10 years of service.
In addition, this year there are 300 retirees with a total of 6,033 years of service to Northside and 7,245 years in education.
