NISD seniors prepare to graduate; ceremonies to be live webcast

After cancelling in-person graduations in 2020 due to the pandemic, Northside is preparing to once again host graduation events.

More than 7,000 seniors will don caps and gowns to collect their diplomas at one of 12 commencements being held for all Northside ISD high schools being held June 3 - 10.

Ceremonies will be held in-person and streamed live on the Internet.

The graduation for Health Careers High School will be 6:30 p.m. on June 3. It will be held at the Northside Sports Gym located at 8400 N. Loop 1604 W. Each HCHS graduate will be allowed six guest tickets. There is no charge for parking. All attendees, including graduates, will be required to wear a facemask.

All the other graduations will be held June 5 - 10 at the Alamodome. The Alamodome (not NISD) charges $10 per car for parking. Handicapped parking is in Lot A. The use of facemasks is highly encouraged but will not be mandated. (Please note that the Alamodome has a clear bag policy.)

DVD and Blu-ray recordings of Northside’s graduation ceremonies are available for purchase online. They are professionally-produced and contain the complete graduation ceremony. DVDs and Blu-rays cost $25 (plus a processing fee per transaction for online orders).
