Schools providing free meals for children 18 years and under

2021 Summer Meals

Northside ISD knows that hunger doesn’t take a break during the summer months, so the District is providing free breakfast and lunch to children 18 years and younger at 59 participating schools during the summer.

Meals will be served in-cafeteria setting as we transition to a traditional style of meal service. Children who are 18 years and younger may eat in the cafeteria regardless if they attend NISD schools or live in the District. Grab-n-Go Meals will also be available for children not eating in the cafeteria. (No curbside service is available.)

Breakfast will be served from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for all grade levels. Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for elementary and middle schools and from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for high schools. Parents / legal guardians may pick up children meals in the cafeteria with proper identification.

Details about locations, dates, times, and menus are available on the Child Nutrition website.
