Principles of Arts, Audio Video Technology and Communication– Fashion #8183

Students will apply fashion industry professional communication strategies. They will understand and examine problem-solving methods to guide the design process from idea to market. Students will use technology applications when completing fashion advertising and marketing projects.

Fashion Design I #8160

This laboratory course focuses on careers in the fashion and textile/apparel industries. Students will be exposed to the apparel production process from design concept to finished product. Course content includes apparel construction, care, and maintenance.

This advanced laboratory course focuses on careers in the fashion and textile/apparel industries. Students will be expected to develop an advanced understanding of fashion, with an emphasis on design and production.

Practicum in Fashion Design #8162 

In Practicum in Fashion Design, students will be expected to develop an advanced technical understanding of the business aspects of fashion, with an emphasis on promotion and retailing. Instruction may be delivered through lab-based classroom experiences or career preparation opportunities.
