Kathleen Cuevas, Principal of Pease Middle School
Kathleen Cuevas - Principal
Hello, my name is Kathleen Cuevas and I am honored to serve as the Principal at E. M. Pease MS. This is the fourth year that I have been blessed to lead and serve the community. I know with collaboration, communication, and a belief in the staff, students, and families we will accomplish great things! This is the start of my 15th year in education of which 14 have been in Northside. I have served the Northside community as a teacher, department coordinator, Special Education Area Coordinator, Special Education Assistant Director for Middle School, Academic Dean, and now Principal. I hold a Bachelor and Master's degree in Human Resource Management respectively from Hawaii Pacific and Webster Universities. I strongly believe that by proficiently executing the basics and expanding on them as new skills and knowledge are obtained, we will raise the level of preparedness for students entering this diverse world. I am supported by my husband of 28 years, two daughters that graduated from Northside schools, my grandson and family. Education is the family business and I'm proud to carry on the tradition.

Tamara Campbell-Babin
Associate Principal

My name is Tamara Campbell-Babin and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Pease Middle School. In this role, I will embody our mission statement to encourage and inspire every life-long learner in our community.

My family lineage is outlined with a number of educators, thus my passion in this profession is innate. While serving in the USAF, I earned my Bachelor's degree from University of Texas Health and Science Center and my Masters in Education at Walden University. Since being hired in 2001, I have served as an ALE Teacher, a District Support Specialist, and an Administrative Intern. Throughout the course of my career, it remains evident the importance of building meaningful relationships throughout the learning community. My experience has given me the empathy necessary to create equitable opportunities for all students. The latter can only be accomplished after ensuring all needs of all persons are met.

Northside ISD has been an integral part of my professional and personal life. Both of my daughters are products of NISD, my eldest being employed through the district. While away from campus, I spend quality time with family, friends and my two grandgirls.

I look forward to celebrating student and campus success at Pease. Be encouraged to conquer challenges with confidence!
