Skill-Based Lifetime Activities (9-12) #5638
This course teaches students to develop basic sport skills, sports knowledge, health concepts, and fitness principles. Participation may include but is not limited to racquet sports, kickball, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, pickleball, and frisbee activities.
All students receiving PE credit must take Fitnessgram or another fitness assessment to determine cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, upper body strength, abdominal strength, trunk extension, and body mass.

Weight Training for Personal Fitness (10 - 12) #5639
Students will learn weight training concepts and the impact on personal fitness, physical literacy, lifetime wellness, and healthy living. Students will also create and design an individual resistance training program. All students receiving PE credit must take Fitnessgram or another fitness assessment to determine cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, upper body strength, abdominal strength, trunk extension, and body mass.
