Spanish Club meets to learn about different Spanish speaking cultures, traditions, and festivities that are practiced throughout the world. We will be creating arts and crafts that are specific to a Spanish speaking countries. We will also increase student language skills in the Spanish language.

We promote literacy in our community. We work on reading , leadership, and speaking skills by holding monthly meetings to plan for and conduct “Book Reads” in person and via Skype with neighboring elementary schools. We engage in and host family and neighborhood events that spread the love of reading. We are the 2013-2014 Champions of the “Team Up Challenge” sponsored by Spurs Sports and Entertainment. All Book Club members get free books throughout the year!
