ATTENDANCE MATTERS!

ATTENDANCE MATTERS! Please do not forget to email or write your note for your child's absence

While we encourage students to be at school every day, we understand that it is not possible due to illness or other emergencies. If your child must be absent from school, please communicate with their teacher through email/SeeSaw to your child's teacher or Attendance Secretary, Angelic Rodriguez (angelic.rodriguez@nisd.net) or a handwritten note. All absences are reported as unexcused by default and then excused upon receipt of a note with a valid reason for the absence. For more information, please consult the Student-Parent Handbook on the NISD website.

 

Please remember that your child must be in their classroom, not on campus, at 7:45 A.M. in order to avoid being counted tardy.


Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
