Beginning Theatre is designed for students to experience the basic, introductory elements of drama. Students will learn basic acting techniques, self confidence, and teamwork. Some performance opportunities may be available. No previous experience is required for this class.

Intermediate Theatre is a more in-depth study of theatre where students continue to build upon skills learned in Beginning Theatre. Students are introduced to additional skills that are necessary to become a theatre artist. Dramatic structure, acting, and technical elements are expanded in both production and scene studies.

Advanced Theatre further enhances the skills developed in beginning and intermediate classes, with students engaging in research, creative thinking, problem-solving, and improvisation skills. Advanced Theatre students must be in 8th grade and have completed both Beginning and Intermediate Theatre, or be placed with instructor approval.

Theatre classes are supplemented with weekly Musical Theatre
