Patriot Strings is available to 5th graders only. The string section makes up the largest part of the orchestra! The musician makes sound on the instruments by plucking or bowing tightly pulled strings. The four main string sections of the orchestra are violin, viola, cello, and bass. There is no audition requirement to join. Rehearsals begin in early September and go through our last concert in April.
