The counselors’ role at Adams Hill Elementary is to establish a campus-wide counseling and guidance program that empowers students. The counselor collaborates with staff and guardians to ensure that all students are achieving higher grades, have low test anxiety, understand goal setting and learn conflict resolution skills that will prepare them for the future. By the end of the 2022 school year the professional school counselor will design and implement grade level appropriate guidance lessons to all students in grade levels Kindergarten to 5th grade that focus on bully prevention on the school campus.
