STEM Students collaborating in the classroom

STEM Education in Northside ISD

Northside ISD’s STEM Education program provides students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through inquiry-based instruction, problem solving, and design thinking, students develop critical thinking and collaboration skills that prepare them for future academic and career success.

At the elementary level, each campus has a dedicated STEM lab where students participate in activities and design challenges that spark curiosity and creativity using knowledge from classroom instruction and tied to a variety of STEM careers.

Ever wondered about the incredible realm of STEM? Curious to explore the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math? 🌐🔍 Let's dive into the excitement together! 💡🚀

STEM allows students to get hands on with science, technology and engineering concepts.

It lets them explore and be creative in ways they might not always have time for in the classroom.  STEM will introduce them to coding and robotics which could help them with future school and career choices.  STEM also gives students the chance to develop a growth mindset.  We emphasize putting in effort over getting things "correct" and allow students the opportunity to make corrections and improve upon their work.
