We are looking forward to making every day at Cole something special and are excited about the opportunity we have to learn together. Our school is focused on the whole child and we understand that learning happens in different ways for everyone so our goal is to work together to make sure we all experience success even though we all know the value of experiencing the struggle to get there. Through high standards in academics, a focus on Social Emotional learning, and a never ending desire to engage our students in meaningful, thought-provoking and engaging lessons our staff is excited to make Cole the best school experience possible for our students.
I have had the pleasure of serving as the Principal of Bennie L. Cole Elementary since we opened in 2016 and look forward to continuing to grow with this amazing school. We are striving every day to live up to the inspiring legacy Mr. Cole and his wife Edith have set before us and it is our mission to continue to grow and be a leading school for all others to follow. Before coming here I had the pleasure of working as a Special Education Teacher and Coordinator, a Vice Principal, and a Principal for other Northside schools. Hello, Explorer Community!
My name is Dominique Sifuentes, and I am honored and excited to serve as the Associate Principal of Bennie L. Cole Elementary School. I am incredibly happy to be part of the Cole community and grateful for the opportunity to meet and build
relationships with the wonderful students and families who walk through our doors each day.
My goal for our Cole Explorers is to ensure that every student receives a high quality education in a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. I am committed to
promoting equity across all classrooms and ensuring that every student has the opportunities, resources, and support they need to learn, grow, and succeed.
This year marks my 11th year in education. My journey has included six years as a classroom teacher and four years as an academic specialist, and I am thrilled to begin this new chapter serving our community as your Associate Principal. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, teachers, and staff to make this an incredible school year. I am so proud to be a Cole Explorer and cannot wait to see all that we accomplish together!
