Behavior Education Support Team's vision is that all staff have the skills and support to implement evidence-based practices with students to ensure equitable outcomes. All stakeholders (students, staff and parents) feel safe, supported and engaged in their learning.
Our mission is to create and maintain an effective learning environment by establishing behavioral support and the social culture needed for all stakeholders (students, staff, family, and community members) to achieve social, emotional and academic success.
Behavior Education Support Team's Responsibilities
- Provide professional development and coaching to build campus-level capacity to provide multi-tiered (Tier 1, 2, and 3) supports for staff and students.

The Whole Child Department is focused on aligning wrap-around systems of support to improve each child’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
Whole Child program's include the Behavior Education Support Team (formerly PBIS), Health Education & Services, the School Age Parenting Program (SAPP), the Connections Program, Family Engagement (Title 1 & 3, Newcomer, Pre-K support & Northside Threads Clothing Closet), Even Start Family Literacy, Counseling & Social Emotional Learning.
