This year at Fields Elementary, we have adopted the Growth Mindset. This is a belief system
that suggests that one’s intelligence and/or talents can be grown or developed with
persistence, effort, and a focus on learning. We will focus on grit, perseverance and the power
of yet. Students are aware of the campus expectations and will be encouraged to treat each
other with kindness and respect. The methodology to all behavior interventions is one where
the approach is positive and where students learn from mistakes and grow as a result.
